NOTICE: Skydiving
is a very physical activity, so if you are not in good
physical condition, you may not want to skydive. It
requires strength, very good flexibility, and the
ability to bend, fall, and roll on the ground if
necessary. Also, we require a MINIMUM of one week
advance scheduling.
Advanced Activities & Coaching
Once a student
has gone through their static line course and are making
their first free-fall jumps, Skydive New Mexico doesn't just
cut them loose. The philosophy of all of the staff and club
members of Skydive New Mexico is to always try to improve
our sky diving through working with each other. We all want
to improve, and we are all willing to help each other out in
that. SNM is very much a close community, and we always
love to add more people to it. So, won't you join us?
Our coach rated jumpers are
available to assist any skydiver learn or hone new skills in
freefall. We work under the Basic Safety Requirements set
forth by the USPA and are more than willing to help you
develop your skills in freefall and under canopy.
Licensing
Once a student
has gotten off of student status, they are eligible to work
toward their various licenses from the USPA. Starting with
the Class A license requirements, any former student is
invited and encouraged to ask any of the instructors of
members who have the ability to jump with them and assist
each person to meet their requirements for their next level.

During The
Day...
One more
thing . . . there is a wonderful café at the airport,
Carolina's Café . Open
from 8am to 2pm, serving both breakfast and lunch fare.
Great food, and during the day while you're with us,
depending on when we can actually get you in the air,
you may have some down time and be hungry before you go
for your tandem. This would be a wonderful place to get
it, without heading back into Belen, as well as help
support another business at the airport.
